New resource will help professors elevate their organization and management courses
Breakout Learning is introducing comprehensive, discipline-specific teaching plans made by professors for professors.
Our Teaching Plan on Marketing was created by Kelly Goldsmith, E. Bronson Ingram Chair and Professor of Marketing at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. Goldsmith also serves as the Marketing practice leader on Breakout’s Academic Advisory Board.
Professor Goldsmith’s teaching plan covers topics typically covered in introductory courses in Marketing – from marketing and product life cycles to crisis marketing. Each module contains interactive Breakout experiences that bring academic concepts to life in ways that actually engage students. Experiences require students to participate in small-group discussions while AI evaluates their learnings and observations. That patented AI sends all the insights to professors to give them an in-depth view of student understanding, and improve student engagement in class.
If you’ve been using the same HBS case studies for years, this teaching plan could be that change up you’re looking for. Check out each module to see how our original experiences can replace traditional case studies on cases about Nestle, Snapple and others.
