Varma will present on AI-driven teaching at the meeting, themed “Future Work Design: Research and Practice.”
Breakout Learning CEO Ramit Varma will present at a special session on artificial intelligence at the first annual meeting of the Turkish Academy of Management (TAOM). “Future Work Design: Research and Practice” is the theme of the inaugural event, which will take place in Istanbul from Sept. 2-5, 2024, on the campus of Istanbul University’s Faculty of Political Sciences.
According to TAOM’s website, the meeting serves as a springboard for delving deep into the complexities of future work design, embracing both rigorous research and practical applications. “Together, we will explore innovative approaches that respond to the ever-changing demands of the modern workplace. Through an inclusive exchange of ideas and expertise, we aim to shape the future of work design, setting new standards for optimizing organizational performance and employee well-being.”
Varma’s presentation on AI-driven teaching will close out the first day of the event, running from 5:30 to 7 p.m. local time. His talk will explore how AI can reintroduce meaningful discourse into education. In a time when the art of conversation is at risk of being lost, the edtech entrepreneur will discuss how AI-evaluated small-group discussions can revitalize classroom interactions, encouraging students to engage more thoughtfully and communicate more effectively.
